This wonderful collection of seventeen poems was written by Rachel and Ethan Garrett last summer when they were ten and eight respectively.
Rachel and Ethan are two Brighton schoolchildren who love living by the sea, playing on the beach and being with their friends. Their mum, Sarah (She has an honours degree in English literature from Oxford!) did help them with spellings and some technical points, but all the ideas for the poems were their own. They want everyone to know that their school was very instrumental in the process because it holds a poetry recital every year and that last year the theme was the world - that is why all the poems in this book are on an eco them and encourage you to recycle, reuse and reduce.
The children know the world needs our help so NO MORE EXCUSES!
